01Avoid direct sunlight
Sunlight is not just harmful for your skin but also your nail polish. Bright lights damage both the colour and texture of your nail paints, so avoid direct sunlight at all costs.
02Store in a cool place
Cool place does not always mean a pitch black spot. If the surface is hotter it will ruin your nail paint, because the heat radiates through the glass. During summers you can even store it in the refrigerator.
03Use a nail lacquer thinner
Invest in a nail lacquer thinner and use it to make your nail paints last longer. The internet might tell you to add some nail polish remover to make it thin, while it sounds like a quick and affordable solution it will break down the formula and ruin your favourite colour.
04Shake it
Even if you don't use it regularly give your nail paints a quick shake every 3-4 days or rub it between your palms to prevent them from drying out.
05Keep the neck of the bottle clean
Have you been in a situation where your nail paint bottle won't open up? That's because there's a lot of paint stuck at the neck of the bottle. After every application, take some cotton to wipe off paint from the neck of the bottle.
